To prototype products, we would need samples of what we want to manufacture, with a minimum of 50 ml. per product. Experience shows that what is published on labels does not always match, so our Master Formulator goes by textures and ingredient list (when it matches). You would formulate only once and send a sample that allows for only one modification. Before formulating you would fill out a comprehensive form to ensure that the requirements are put in writing. If after the first sample and modification you are not satisfied, you must pay for another formulation.

Do you deliver technical documentation once the final formula has been made?2022-04-29T09:32:12+01:00

The technical documentation is delivered to you once you are satisfied with the version and with the firm order.

What is the minimum quantity to be manufactured?2022-04-29T09:33:34+01:00

The manufacturing process varies according to the type of product you need. The minimum quantities are 10 kg per product. We have a Premium range that we have developed with the best raw materials and active ingredients.

You pay 50% to place the order and the other 50% before sending the product.

It all depends on the characteristics of each formulation and its studies. There is no exact manufacturing time.

If it is a Premium product, the estimated time once the Logo design is confirmed is approximately 3 / 4 weeks.

If it is an order with a customized product, everything will depend on the studies to be carried out on that product. If the product studied does not need modifications, it can take approximately 3 to 4 months.

Do I have to send the designs (AAFF) for my products, or do you create them at Laboratorios Klein Cosmética?2022-04-29T09:43:09+01:00

At Laboratorios Klein Cosmética we have our own in-house design department specialized in the design of cosmetic products, with which we develop the corporate image and packaging design for our clients, as well as any other application you may need.

But if you have your own design department or collaborate with an external designer you can also send us your design. You must consider that if you decide to send us the design, before being printed it will go through a Quality Review (1) and Technical Review (2) so that we can start the printing with guarantees that it will be correct:

Quality Review: we perform a review of the files in terms of colors, resolution, format, etc. So that the final artwork (AAFF) meets the quality requirements.

Technical review: We carry out a review from the technical point of view of the contents, so that your packaging complies with the current regulations for cosmetic products.

At Klein Cosmetics Laboratories we develop cosmetics from the initial consultation to the delivery of the finished products, which means that you will receive your products labeled, with printed boxes, and if you wish with other promotional materials.

We offer you the most advanced production techniques. We use state-of-the-art printing equipment to offer you offset quality labels. We obtain vivid colors, accurate pantones, smooth gradients, and perfectly legible text (even in tiny sizes).

From the moment an order is activated, our design department gets to work and will contact you to discuss all the details of your order. Within approximately 10 days you will receive the first design proposals and based on these proposals you will be able to request 2 additional modifications.

Preferably we work from vectorized Illustrator (.ai) files. If you do not have vector files, please contact our design department to find a solution.

What substrates can we use for boxes and labels and what types of inks?2022-04-29T09:52:53+01:00

The standard support is white folding carton, and we use the grammage (the thickness of the cardboard) that is suitable for each specific project. But we can manufacture with a wide range of materials as required by the project.

The label backing can be transparent, white or any color, including metallized materials (silver or gold). We can also use any color of ink in addition to the colors produced in four-color process and spot colors (Pantone). We can also print metallic inks and white ink.

What tests are performed on each product, and do these tests ensure that the products do not cause adverse reactions?2022-04-29T09:54:10+01:00

Each product undergoes the following tests: dermal test, eye irritation test, formula stability test, thermal stability test and product-package compatibility test. While it is true that the product is approved if it passes these tests, no product can guarantee that it will not cause irritation to a person with sensitive skin. Even the most famous brands state in their labeling that in case of irritation, stop use and consult a doctor.

Premium products already comply with the European regulations for cosmetic products, which require different types of mandatory tests to be carried out in order to receive them. What would have to be done is to register the products and your company in the European Portal.
